Indian incense sticks are handcrafted, skilfully selected compositions of aromatic ingredients: essential oils, flower petals, herbs, resin and wood dust that delight with unique fragrances. Incense not only fills a space with a pleasant aroma, refreshing the air and eliminating unpleasant odours. They are believed to have magical powers. They help to focus thoughts, clear the mind and relax the body, stimulate energy, the senses and creativity, remove bad vibes and introduce a positive atmosphere. Some can even act as aphrodisiacs. When lighting incense, one can think of a good intention - happiness, love or wealth. Believing in the fulfilment of dreams can work wonders. Incenses have been known to mankind for centuries - they have been present during various ceremonies and rituals in many religions of the world. How to use incense sticks?
- Place the incense stick in the holder.
- Light the incense (the darker part) with a match or lighter.
- Wait for the incense to glow and blow out the flame.
- As you extinguish the flame, you can close your eyes and think about the intention that will accompany your ritual.
- If you want to extinguish the incense before burning to the end, press the tip with the ember against the holder.
The incense set is sold together with a wooden holder. This handmade accessory is decorated with a brass elephant. The wood used to create the saucer is characterised by its strength and resistance to heat. Due to the artisanal nature of the accessory, each piece may vary slightly.
