The base of this original composition is the specially roasted leaves of the Ilex paraguariensis - known as yerba mate tostada. During roasting, the leaves lose their fresh aroma and juicy green colour, but gain intriguing chocolate notes in the taste. Here, the tostada combines perfectly with the additives: large flakes of three types of chocolate - white, milk and dark chocolate, coconut chips and almond flakes. Yerba mate tostada tastes best in the form of a warm infusion, and even better when poured over warm milk (may also be plant-based milk), creating a tasty milky and chocolate drink.
