Loyalty programme - terms and conditions
General information about MateMundo.co.uk loyalty programme
The loyalty programme allows to receive free products in exchange for points earned by the participant by shopping at the MateMundo.co.uk shop and adding ratings and reviews of products offered by the shop.
Participation
Participants in the loyalty programme are those registered at www.matemundo.co.uk.
Rules of calculating points
1. Points are calculated based on the monetary value (GBP) of the order. When placing an order, the customer automatically earns a number of points calculated according to the following formula:
X = the point value of the order, where 0.03 GBP = 1 point (e.g. if the order value is 121.4 GBP, the number of points awarded is 121.4 / 0.03 = 4046.67)
2. The number X is not rounded out to integer values.
3. Points are also awarded for:
- adding an opinion by the customer about a product purchased in the shop (7 points for each opinion accepted by the shop) and attaching photos to the opinion (7 points for each accepted photo attached with the opinion),
- subscribing to the shop's newsletter (10 points awarded once).
4. Points are not added to the cost of shipping your order (if you choose to have your order shipped to the address provided during registration).
5. Points are represented as measurable numbers.
Conversion of order value per point
The conversion of the order value into points is used to calculate the points (marked as pending) which the customer receives when placing an order. The rule of calculating points according to the conversion of order value per point is discussed in the section "Rules of calculating points" of these regulations.
Types / status of points
- pending points – these are points automatically awarded when a customer places an order. Pending points await verification on our part. Verification means changing the status of pending points to one of the next two statuses (credited or cancelled). Points with a pending status are not counted when calculating the points balance for a customer,
- credited points – these are points approved by us. The change of the points status from pending to credited will take place when the transaction (purchase) has been finalised. Points with a credited status are counted when calculating the points balance for a customer,
- cancelled points – these are points which have not been successfully verified and are cancelled when the transaction is not completed (e.g. no payment, not collecting the products within the time limit specified by us). Points marked as cancelled are not counted when calculating the points balance for a customer,
- used points – these are points which the customer has used to pay for ordered products. Used points are included in the customer's points balance automatically at the moment of payment with points for the order. Points with a used status are counted when calculating the points balance for a customer.
Verification of points
1. Verification of points means the change of the status of pending points assigned to a specific transaction to one of the statuses:
- credited points,
- cancelled points.
2. Changing the status of points from pending to credited or cancelled is irreversible.
3. Points verification time is up to 40 days from the date of the order.
4. Pending points are credited when it is known that the transaction has been completed, i.e. payment has been received and the ordered products have been delivered or collected personally by the customer within a period specified by us of up to 20 days from the date of dispatch.
5. Pending points shall be cancelled when the transaction has not taken place (e.g. no payment, not collecting the products within the 20 day period specified by us from the date of placing the order).
Customer’s points balance
1. The customer's point balance is calculated using the following formula:
customer's point balance = total points credited - total points used
2. The customer may only use the points defined as the customer's point balance.
3. When a purchase is made, the point balance is reduced by the number of points used.
4. The balance of points is used automatically when placing the next order in case of clicking the option: use the balance of points.
5. All products that are available for exchange for loyalty points can be found in the "Loyalty programme products" tab.
6. The number of points from the customer’s points balance selected by the user during the ordering process will be used for the order provided that the points balance is greater than the number of points used.
7. The balance of points can be changed by system administrators in the case of cancellation of an order.
8. Each registered and logged-in customer receives information about the current balance of points and discount opportunities.
9. Points are only redeemable for products available with points.
