Why should you drink autumn tea?

Autumn infusions are not only a way to warm up on cold days. They are also a source of valuable ingredients to support our immunity when the temperature outside the window drops. Spicy tea, with the addition of ginger or cinnamon, will have a warming effect and stimulate circulation. Ginger is also known for its anti-inflammatory and immune-supporting properties. Aromatic spices often present in autumn teas, such as cloves or cardamom, give the drinks a distinctive flavour and support the body in a natural way.

Apart from the health aspects, a warming autumn tea is above all a great way to boost your mood during sad, grey, rainy days! The very ritual of brewing tea has a relaxing and stress-relieving effect. The abundance of aromas and flavours of autumn tea compositions makes each cup a small pleasure, allowing you to pause for a moment in your daily rush. In our shop you will find a range of carefully composed teas which will make every autumn day more pleasant and give your body a boost of natural energy and beneficial ingredients.

Autumn compositions from Mary Rose: warming teas for long evenings

Looking for the best tea for autumn? Be sure to check out the Mary Rose tea collection available in our shop. The brand has a number of unique compositions that have been created just for the colder months. Let's take a closer look at them!

Mary Rose Autumn Vibes tea

Autumn Vibes is by far the most autumnal tea of all the offerings available in our shop! It is enriched with typically autumn fruits – quince and rowan. A particularly intriguing addition is candied ginger, which leaves a pleasantly spicy impression on the tongue. Tea with ginger is perfect for cold days and evenings.

Mary Rose Caramel Pear tea

Autumn fruits in the form of juicy pears, spicy, warming ginger and the sweet aftertaste of caramel. This is a recipe for the perfect autumn tea! These are precisely the flavours blended in the Caramel Pear composition. A real feast for the palate, ideal for savouring in the company of a book or a film.

Mary Rose Magic Forest tea

A warm blanket, the sounds of autumnal music, a good book or your favourite TV series – this is the way to improve your mood on a gloomy, rainy day. And, of course, there must be a cup of hot tea. Mary Rose Magic Forest will help you create a magical, truly autumnal atmosphere!

Mary Rose Pepper Spice tea

Another proposition, perfect for improving the mood and warming up on an autumn morning – Pepper Spice. This is an original variation based on green tea, where the main role is played by spices – cloves and red pepper, balanced by the freshness of mint and the sweetness of fruit. Ideal for those who like unusual flavour combinations and beautiful images in their cup. Red balls of Peruvian pepper and blue cornflower petals create not only an intriguing taste, but also an extremely interesting visual composition.

Mary Rose Oriental tea

For lovers of more exotic flavours, we recommend Oriental tea. This is a unique composition where black Yunnan tea is accompanied by tropical accents of orange peel, warming cinnamon and delicate rose petals. A real feast for the senses! The aroma alone wafting over the cup puts you in an autumnal, cosy mood. This spice tea delights with its complexity of flavours, where each sip reveals new aromatic notes.

Mary Rose Chai Tea

Chai Tea is another offering with aromatic, spicy ingredients, in a strongly exotic edition. It is inspired by traditional recipes from India. Combines the power of Assam black tea with the richness of spices: cloves, cinnamon, ginger, cardamom and black pepper. According to Indian tradition, Masala Chai is served with milk, but the strongly spicy and warming Mary Rose tea also works well in its classic form – poured over hot water. It's the perfect autumn brew for the increasingly longer and colder evenings!

Mary Rose Chocolatier tea

Finally, we mustn't forget a special treat for those with a sweet tooth. Aromatic hot chocolate, thick and deep in flavour, is also a good way to deal with the autumn chill. What about combining the taste of chocolate with tea? This is exactly what has happened in Chocolatier tea – a masterful combination of Yunnan black tea with three types of chocolate: dessert, white and milk. The chocolate and almond aroma wafting over the cup makes each sip a small pleasure, perfect for lifting the mood on cloudy days!

How to prepare the perfect autumn tea?

The best recipe for autumn tea depends on what flavour variation you choose. There are also a few versatile ways to get the full flavour out of any brew. Firstly, it is worth paying attention to the temperature of the water used for brewing. Black tea-based compositions can be brewed in boiling water, while green tea requires gentler treatment – the temperature of the brewing water should not exceed 80°C. It is also a good idea to adjust the water temperature according to the additives that are in the tea. The essential oils contained in spices release their flavour and properties best in hot water (95-100°C). For more delicate compositions with the addition of fruit, it is better to use slightly cooler water (85-90°C) so as not to destroy their natural aromas. When preparing the perfect autumn brew, the right brewing time is also important. For black teas such as Oriental or Autumn Vibes, 3-5 minutes is optimal – just enough time for all the aromas to release without the tea becoming overly astringent. Green, milder teas such as Pepper Spice will only need about 2-3 minutes of steeping time. Too long a steeping time can make the infusion bitter and lose its subtle flavour notes.

Autumn tea should also be enriched with additives. Fruit teas such as Caramel Pear or Magic Forest work well with the addition of honey, which will not only accentuate the natural flavours, but also enrich the infusion with additional health-promoting properties. In the case of Caramel Pear, the honey blends well with the caramel notes and pear aroma, creating a warming tea ideal for autumn evenings. For Magic Forest, on the other hand, rich in forest fruits, dark buckwheat honey will work best, whose intense flavour will complement the forest accents beautifully. Spicy teas such as Oriental or Chai Tea will go perfectly with the addition of fresh citrus slices. Hot spicy tea with orange and cloves will instantly fill your home with an intense aroma and evoke a wonderful autumnal atmosphere!

Autumn tea ceremony

Brewing autumn tea can become your ritual to make the long, colder evenings more pleasant. All you need is a comfortable seat, your favourite book, a scented candle with autumn notes or incense to create a magical atmosphere, maybe even a blanket and warm socks and – of course – a cup of hot brew. Autumn teas are best enjoyed by savouring them slowly, paying attention to the changing aromas and flavours as you drink. We encourage you to create your own tea ritual this autumn! In our shop you will find unique compositions that can accompany you every day – whether it is a morning cup of warming tea or an evening moment of relaxation. Let autumn infusions become your daily moment of pleasure and relaxation!
